Podiatrist Dr. Araujo is a graduate of Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his surgical residency at Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, Florida. He is certified by the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS). Dr. Araujo is certified in wound care by the American Board of Wound Healing. He has over 20 years’ experience as a Podiatrist in conservative and surgical treatment of the foot.
Dr. Araujo has presented a case series poster at the Spring Symposium on Advanced Wound Care (SAWC) in Atlanta. Currently, Dr. Araujo is granted surgical privileges at Marshall Medical Center North and South. He is also a part of the Marshall Wound Healing Center team. As the sole podiatrist at the Marshall Wound Healing center, Dr. Araujo supervises the treatment and healing of complex sores and wounds including hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO).

Dr. Araujo enjoys providing pain relief to patients of all ages from the young to the “young at heart”. While he is especially passionate about providing quality foot care to diabetic patients, he also enjoys providing conservative and surgical treatment to some of the most common causes of foot pain,

Dr. Araujo has enjoyed being a member of the Marshall County community since 1997. Dr. Araujo and his wife Lisa have two grown children, Robert and Cierrah, and one grandson Brendan. The have enjoyed all the Marshall County has to offer from the mountain and lakes to building a church family at Connect Church Guntersville.
